Wael Adel Al-Tahawy, software engineer (Computer Science, Faculty of Computers and Information, Cairo University).
A member of Al-Tahawy family from Al-menofia in Egypt Nile delta and its origin from Al-Sharqya also in Egypt Nile delta.
Currently live in Shubra Al-Khaima, Al-Qalubia.
I was born in Mintai village in Shubra (27 December, 1986).
My first school was Omar Makram primary school and I spent 5 years in it. Then moved to Mintai preparatory school and it was two periods (the morning period for girls and the noon period for boys).
After finishing the preparatory period (3 years) with a grade 238 from 280, I was prepared to enter the secondary school (Mubarak secondary school) and it was a specialized school that each student must get 200 at least and there was a year a secondary stage accepts from 177, but this school accept only form 200.
The first year in secondary school was full of fun as I did everything (jumping over the school wall :D, in free period eating from any restaurant beside the school, fighting with students in third year :D).
According to this seya3a I thought that I will get a low grades and I will hardly success, but I got 238 and I can’t remember if this from 300 or what.
The second year and the third year was the hard study year as it is sanaweya 3ama :D. I got 94.5 % in second year and 93.5 in third year due to Physics and Math, but Physics was the big reason of low grade.
It is now the time to choose the faculty to specialized in it. From the final year in preparatory stage I love the computer and programs and in second year in secondary school it was my first program (a silly calculator using VisualBasic 6.0) in this time I thought that I made a great thing. So my faculty selection criteria was the computer (Faculty of Engineering- computer section or Faculty of Computers and Information), and as the second one is the better for computer, it was my choice.
The faculty stage was a wonderful stage as I learned many useful things or at least was the guide for me to learn all the new technologies and got a little knowledge about the world of computers. Through the four years of the faculty I met wonderful friends that everyone can be proud of knowing all of them. In the first year the students in third year was a good guide for us as beginners to work well in the faculty to get high marks and also they teach us the concepts of programming via C++ (the first course in programming I have got in the faculty).
The four years passed quickly with effort, pain and joy, and now I finally graduated.
And I am waiting the military stage to begin and I pray to not be accepted in it.
Finally you made a blog… Welcome eng.Wael to the blogs’ world and I wish to read a lot of posts here 🙂
And this is my honor to be the first one to comment 🙂
I will pray for you to not be accepted in the military, but I don’t know why you don’t like to enter it. I think it will be useful for you to learn how to depend on yourself and how to cook 😉
Wish you the best of luck …
Thanks eng. zinab for your comment
